Site Upgraded & Bugs Fixed

In the last few weeks we have been working on and will continue to work on fixing any known problems and finding ways to make filefap even faster.
So far we have..
Updated the browse galleries page so that it loads 150 times faster than before, doing so has made the whole site faster than ever before.
Fixed the problem with uploading large files, you can now upload large files without any errors.
Added keyboard shortcuts on the view image pages, which means you can go to the next or previous image just by pressing left or right on your keyboard.
Fixed the errors on the most popular and random images pages.
If you have found any problems with filefap let us know over in the forum and we will add it to the to do list.

Since our last news post the much improved NEW Forum is now online and ready to go, if you haven't taken a look yet the link is http://filefap.com/forum/
Due to demand for extra bandwidth on our pro accounts we have more than doubled the gold account from 200GB to 500GB A MONTH!. Thats not the only plan we have made changes to, we have also doubled to bandwidth on our silver account, increased file space to 12GB silver and 30GB Gold you can also upload files up to 250MB in size (five times the size as before)
We have also increased the prices slightly on these plans, if you created your pro account before these changes you will still pay the original amount and won't be affected.

New forum coming shortly

We have finally got a new forum online but it won't be available just yet, the problem is that we don't want all our users to have to register a new account to use it so we have been working on a way to get around this.
We aim to get the new forum fully working by friday at the very latest (so that you have the same username and don't have to login again).
We appologise for taking the old forum offline and having to take the site offline a couple of times too, we had to do this to work on the forum, we will have to take the site offline once more this week but i can assure you its worth it because the new forum is a huge improvement on the old one.

In the last week we have not been online for all sorts of reasons, starting a week ago we had problems with our IP address's which meant we appeared to be offline. After changing IP address a few times and fixing any DNS problems on our server i dedided to do something about the loading times on FileFap too, i knew this might mean a bit of downtime but i thought its best to sortt out everything at the same time.So we have now switched to lighttpd (same http software as youtube and wikipedia) to cope with all the extra users we are getting, this meant we had to rewrite large parts of the site witch caused lots of pages not to work correctly for days and at times for your images not to show.
Anyway after a week of everyone getting frustrated and me spending 6-12 hours a day in front of the computer everything is much better than before. Hope you all understand why we had to take the site offline at times and most off all hope you enjoy the new loading speeds.
New Server Online & Account Upgrades all round

In the past week we have moved filefap.com to a larger server which has made the site faster and more reliable than ever before.
As we now have lots of extra web space and bandwidth we have upgraded everyones account.
Free users now have 2GB of storage (double the old limit) and we have raised the limit on max filesize to 25MB.
Silver Users now get 6GB of storage, 40Gb of bandwidth and can ipload images upto 50MB in size.
Gold users now get a massive 20GB of storage, 200GB of bandwidth and a maximum filesize of 100MB
